Studio Rocky is a design practice rooted in collaboration, exploration, and connection. I work with purpose-driven brands who travel well off the beaten path — delivering visual identities and storytelling systems that are both grounded and forward-thinking.
As a designer, I value the craft of hands-on practice. Whether building an identity system or shaping the nuances of a single poster, I approach each project with care, intention, and a desire to create work that resonates. My goal is to develop visuals that connect brands to their audiences in ways that are both honest and lasting — designed for the moment, yet built to endure.
At 25, I spent a handful of years living for experiences through travel, rock climbing and living in my van. These explorations have shaped my vision in design. In my experience as a rock climber and climbing guide I collaborated with brands such as:
The North Face, Smith Optics, Prana, Yeti, Title Nine and Arcade Belts.
I spent time painting mountainous landscapes across the west coast and began to shape my pursuits as a visual creative. During my shift into graphic design, I travelled to Spain to climb and progress in Barcelona, a beautiful hub for design. After many months spent in Spain, adopting our dog Rocky, and gaining my masters in Visual Design from Elisava School of Design, I returned to our home base in Minneapolis.
Through growing into Studio Rocky over the last five years, I have worked for studios such as Camp4 Collective, Studio MPLS, Hagen Creative, Honest Studios and others. I have created work for:
Save the Boundary Waters, Public Lands Shop, James Edward Mills, Fitch Carpentry, Three Circle Shop, and others.
I would love to collaborate with you to bring your design needs to life! View services to see how we can best work together.
